This story is based in the Star Wars universe and takes place a few years after the events of Star Wars - The Return of the Jedi. (There is flashbacks to points in the previous movies but it is primarily after episode VI) There will be references to events from The Mandalorian as it happens around the same time and some parts will be included from the series. The main character who's storyline we will mostly follow is called Reine, and she is a skilled and valued pilot for the New Republic. She will be found alongside her partner in crime Dirt, a Non-binary cyborg.

The Galaxy is full of many stories yet to be told...such as that of a man, a former Jedi, torn between the Light and Dark, and destined to fight against foes a normal Jedi couldn't handle alone. Together with a band of unlikely friends, old and new, Telbus Mayne does battle not for the Jedi, but for the sake of the people themselves. Rey ran over the dusty sand hills in jakku breathing heavily heading straight to the orphanage. Trying not to fall over how much sand was burying her feet she finally landed at the orphanage door. Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked down at her beautiful baby girl. Rey saw she was awake and smiling in the wrapped up blanket. Rey needed to take one last look at her. Her eyes,one brown and one blue. Rey smiled at her beautiful freckles and long eyelashes. But noticed she had her fathers black hair. "I'm so sorry willow I can't stay we will meet again soon." Rey whispered kissing her baby goodbye. Rey didn't want to but it was to protect her from pure evil. She gently placed willow on the sandy floor pulling a green amulet out her pouch and putting it down on willow. "You'll soon know the truth, your a solo..may the force be with you my little willow." She pounded on the door and ran tears streaming down her face hearing willow beginning to cry...

Lost on an abandoned space station, commissioned for evil purposes, are bound mates Moon Tano and Anakin Solo, with their non-force-sensitive companions. This station's AI seems intent on wiping out the Jedi. Elsewhere, Ahsoka Tano, Master Ikrit and Master Ty search for a lost group of force sensitives that have supposedly been in hiding since before the rise of the empire. In order to save their home world, the bound mates must learn to trust this 'ghost' that 'lives' within the death trap they've been caught in. Their masters will need everything they've ever learned to find the children of the force, and make it home to their students.

| this is my take on a sort of crossover type thing of some aspects of the movie top gun and obviously starwars, the plot line won't align with any of the movies, it's just sort of my own concoction. i also don't own the setting, characters, or some lines i'll be using except the female lead character & the plot line. | maverick's parents were close with han and leia, and she was sent to jedi training with her best friend, ben. after ben turned to the darkness, and the death of her parents, maverick lived on tatooine while being raised by han solo. eventually, leia called upon her to help the resistance. there, she meets poe dameron, and eventually reunites with ben- who is now kylo. the conflict in her heart tears her apart. who was she destined to be? the light or the dark?

The title sums it up.
